This week, we will discuss the history and philosophy of science and explore what scholars generally see as the main tenets of the nature of science. Topics will include how to interpret news reports of science findings and how we as a society see the role of science in our everyday lives.
About the Presenter: Dr. Cynthia D'Angelo is an Associate Professor at the College of Education at the University of Illinois. Her research focuses on the use of learning technologies within the context of science education in both formal and informal settings and innovative analysis of the multifaceted data that are presented in these spaces.
