Tuesdays at Ten | Civil War in New Mexico 2
The Confederate Invasion of New Mexico 1862
Tue, Nov 11, 2025
10:00 am – 11:00 am
Join us at the library for coffee, socializing, and learning something new.
These two talks will examine the most remote (and oddest) of Civil War campaigns. Texas rangers, Colorado mountaineers, the battles of Valverde and Glorieta Pass, Kit Carson, and Captain Paddy Graydon’s exploding mules will each play a part in this remarkable story. So will the unforgiving environment and beautiful scenery of the desert Southwest.
