Volunteering at Your Library

library volunteers smiling at library event

As a library volunteer, you’ll be helping to provide everyone in our community with life-enriching experiences. Hundreds of volunteers play an important part in the success of this busy, popular library. Volunteering for the library can be very rewarding. You’ll benefit by:

  • Working in a friendly environment
  • Meeting new and interesting people
  • Achieving a feeling of accomplishment
  • Learning about the library and all its resources
  • Gaining new skills

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. If you are 16 or 17, you’ll need a signed waiver from a parent or guardian.

Current opportunities

If you think you are interested in volunteering, please check the available listings for the library.

United Way also lists local volunteer needs within the community.
