Start + Grow Your Nonprofit

As a nonprofit leader, you know there is nothing more critical to success in fulfilling your organization's mission than having adequate financial resources. That pressure to raise more money never goes away, yet most executive directors -- and even many development directors -- have backgrounds and experience in something other than fundraising. So how do you get started? Or, if you've embarked on a development program or have one well underway, how do you know whether you're focusing on the most important work? If these or other fundamental questions about development weigh on you, then Nonprofit Fundraising 101 is for you. We will discuss the primary elements of a nonprofit development program, the roles of staff and board, and what to focus on depending upon your stage in the organizational life cycle.

Presented in partnership with the Community Foundation of East Central Illinois.

Registration is encouraged.
