Gardening with native plants is not only great for birds and pollinators, it's easier for you! Learn more about native plants that are beautiful, low maintenance, and create habitat in your own backyard.

Sara Johnson is a graduate student in NRES at UIUC and is the current Vice President and Communications chair for Champaign County Audubon Society. She is passionate about rare and unique plants and all things outdoors! She spends lots of time doting on her garden and birding in natural areas around Central Illinois.
