Join us as we will discuss networking misconceptions and how to properly define the concept.

Receive and share tips and strategies for how to identify and grow your network. We will also practice how to talk about your skills and experiences during networking opportunities.

About the Presenter:  Wes Erwin is a faculty member at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, in the Department of Professional Skills and Business Communication. He has a passion for helping people develop and grow professionally. His career has consisted of living out this passion through a variety of different roles. He has advised and coached students and professional clients 1-on-1, led workshops on topics including networking, emotional intelligence and job search preparation, presented at professional conferences, and worked with employers and alumni to provide career and internship opportunities. Since, 2007, Wes has taught a variety of collegiate courses, with topics ranging from career and professional development to leadership and business presentations.  He strives to bring a creative voice to every presentation, actively engaging each unique audience.
