About the Presenter: Stacy Rachel started her career with the City of Champaign in 2004 when she joined the Public Works Department first as a Parking Services Supervisor and later as Administrative Services Supervisor. Ms. Rachel moved to the Human Resources Department in 2013 as a Temporary Administrative Services Supervisor before being promoted to her current position of HR Specialist. In her current position, Stacy’s primary responsibilities include recruitment, staffing, and workforce planning. Prior to her work with the City, Ms. Rachel spent 10 years in private college admissions. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Truman State University, a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Illinois State University, and a Certificate in Human Resources from Parkland College.
