2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Join us for this virtual workshop to receive information about state-based employment resources including one of the newest options for Illinois job seekers and employers.

The Illinois Department of Employment Security and the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity have joined to provide Get Hired Illinois. This online portal is dedicated to connecting Illinois residents with access to new skills training, job and career opportunities, and virtual job fairs.

IllinoisJobLink.com is the state of Illinois’s help wanted internet job board managed by the Illinois Department of Employment Security. In this position, Don explains the purpose and benefits of utilizing IllinoisJobLink.com to IDES staff, Local Workforce Investment Areas (LWIAs), other state agencies, college and/or university career groups, and employer and job seeker groups.
