Writer's Workshop: The Art of Writing Poetry

Join us for a hands-on generative workshop on poetry writing where we will face those fears by looking at different types of poems and spend time getting those first drafts started.

Please bring your preferred writing materials or technology.

About the instructor:

Jim O’Brien recently won the Volunteer ACE Award from 40 North 88 West "for sharing his passion for poetry and spoken word in an engaging and supportive manner, for his dedication in creating a venue for writers of all levels to gather, discuss, interact and share their voice, for enthusiastically supporting this creative community and inspiring authors to read and display their craft and connect individuals from all walks of life."
