Live Webinar
Wed, Nov 3, 2021
7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

In this workshop, participants will receive an overview of the process of submitting short fiction and poetry to literary magazines for publication.

Don't miss this opportunity to obtain information and advice on manuscript formatting, cover letters, and much more!

About the presenter: John Milas's short fiction has appeared in publications such as The Southampton Review, Superstition Review, Chicago Quarterly Review, and elsewhere. He has read journal submissions for Ninth Letter, Sycamore Review, 5x5, and Rejection Letters, and has judged the fiction category of Uni High's annual creative writing contest since 2015. John grew up in Champaign and has left twice: once to serve in the Marine Corps and once to attend graduate school at Purdue University, where he earned his MFA in fiction under the guidance of his thesis advisor, Roxane Gay. He is currently at work on a novel and short story collections, both inspired by his experience in the military. Learn more at johnmilas.com.
