Is solar energy right for you? As renewable energy production is increasing in popularity, opportunities to incorporate solar panels on your home have become more available and affordable. In this presentation, we will cover the basics of solar energy, what options are available for homeowners, and what points to consider when deciding if solar panels are suitable for your home.

About the presenter: Karla Griesbaum is an Illinois Extension Educator in the areas of Natural Resources, Environment, and Energy. She has a bachelor's degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science and a Master's Degree in Plant Biology. Karla is passionate about natural areas conservation, restoration, whole system ecology, and people-nature connection.
