April is National Poetry Month in the U.S., so a lot of poets will be writing poems. But where do they find their ideas?
In this workshop, we will look at different sources for poetry prompts and explore what might be best for you. We will also try a few so bring your best ideas and we will generate a draft or two.
About the presenter: Jim O'Brien recently won the Volunteer ACE Award from 40 North 88 West "for sharing his passion for poetry and spoken word in an engaging and supportive manner, for his dedication in creating a venue for writers of all levels to gather, discuss, interact and share their voice, for enthusiastically supporting this creative community and inspiring authors to read and display their craft and connect individuals from all walks of life."
