Brenda Bailey-Hughes shares techniques for stopping negative thought patterns and cultivating positive environments, relationships, and habits. Plus, she explains how to remain authentically positive when responding to negative people and situations.

Presenter:   Brenda Bailey-Hughes is an award-winning faculty member at the nationally ranked Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where she teaches professional communication and leadership courses.  She is the author of nine courses in the LinkedIn Learning library including  "Being Positive in the Workplace," "Overcoming Procrastination," and best-sellers, "Effective Listening," and "Communication Tips."

Brenda specializes in communication training and has coached executives in Fortune 500 companies such as Procter & Gamble, WellPoint (largest health benefits company in the US ), Cummins, Inc., (a global power leader employing 46,000 people worldwide and serving customers in 190 countries), Brown-Forman (one of the largest American-owned companies in the wine and spirits business and parent company to Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey), National Collegiate Athletic Association,  Chinese International Marine Containers (manufactures and sells transportation equipment), John Deere, Old National Bank (18th best large bank in the U.S. according to Forbes), and the City of Indianapolis.​
