About the Presenter:
Denise Renee Poindexter, founder of The Girlfriend Career Consultant, LLC, is an advocate for women- in the home, at work, and in the community. She believes in recognizing the dynamic, multi-faceted experiences of others and cultivating spaces where everyone can show up authentically.
Professionally, Denise serves as the Director of Executive Search for a large healthcare recruitment firm where she is responsible for both client- and candidate-facing activities, ensuring executive recruitment success through the placement of top talent. As a natural connector, Denise discovers candidates’ organic skillsets to align them with ideal professional opportunities where they’ll succeed and flourish.
Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Arkansas State University and a Master of Public Administration from Troy University. She actively practices self-care with her dog, Sasha Renee, tasting new wines, and traveling the world.
