Come and listen to a bilingual story time and participate in a Mini-Dragon Parade to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival!

This month's theme is Mid-Autumn Festival featuring The Legend of Cuội, the Man on the Moon.

Cuội is a well-known character of the Vietnamese Mid-Autumn Festival. According to Vietnamese legend, Cuội lives on the Moon, but how did he end up there? This book tells the story of his life and adventure.

The Center for East Asian and Pacific Studies, in partnership with the Vietnamese Family and Student Group at UIUC, presents East Asian Bilingual Storytime, a monthly family event series celebrating cultural and language diversity in our communities. Each bilingual storytime event will feature a story to spark children’s interest in East Asian languages and cultures. All are welcome!
