Come join us for Genome Day, an afternoon of hands-on science activities about genomes, genes, DNA, and evolution.
Illinois scientists will offer activities related to genomics, including learning how organisms relate to each other on the Tree of Life, extracting strawberry DNA to make necklaces, and understanding how genomics pervades every aspect of our daily lives.
While many activities are designed with K-8 students in mind, almost all can be adapted for everyone from toddlers to senior citizens.
