About the Presenter: Cam Burkins is a writer, reader, and perpetual student from Houston, TX. Having navigated career pivots from engineering to non-profit communications, and now to librarianship, Cam has a breadth of experience leveraging soft skills to secure varied roles and opportunities and is passionate about empowering others to do the same. They are currently pursuing a master's degree in library and information science at the U of I, and have a bachelor's in civil engineering.
