An Evening with Lisa See

Great Authors at the Library
Thu, Apr 6, 2023
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Join us for an evening with #1 New York Times bestselling author Lisa See.

In her many beloved New York Times bestsellers, including Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane, Shanghai Girls, and The Island of Sea Women, Lisa See brilliantly illuminates the strong bonds between women, romantic love, and love of country. Replete with rich period detail and transportive stories, her novels are as deeply moving as they are meticulously researched.

A lifelong Angelino, See is also an active member of the Los Angeles arts community, where she served as guest curator for an exhibit on the Chinese-American experience at the Autry Museum of Western Heritage, and helped develop and curate their Family Discovery Gallery, an interactive space for children and their families. She also curated the inaugural exhibition for the grand opening of the Chinese American Museum in Los Angeles.
