Summer Reading Kickoff

Event Time: 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
18 volunteers are needed from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Volunteers will check in at the Library lobby.
Program Description:
Come by the library to sign up for this summer's reading challenge!
All ages are also invited to join us on Sunday, May 17 from 12–3 pm for drop-in activities.

Volunteer Job Description:
Volunteers are needed to assist library staff with the programs. Here are the tasks:
Task #1: Children’s programs in Robeson Room A/B/C and Nate & Lilies Room
- 10 volunteers are needed to assistance with craft activities, balloon artist and music programs
Task #2: Outdoor activities on the front porch, west lawn and parking lot
- 6 volunteers are needed to monitor big games, manage crowds and set up barriers in the parking lot
Task #3: Library Lobby
-2 volunteers are needed to greet attendees and direct people to locations of interest.
