To apply online for jobs at the Champaign Public Library:

• Check our list of current job openings. Click  job titles to learn more about the position, questions you’ll need to answer during the application process, and to apply.
• Sign In. The first time you apply online with us you’ll be prompted to create an account — you’ll need an email address, username and password. Save these for future use.
• Include  3 references and all relevant education and experience.

Your online application is stored on a secure website. It can be used to apply for future library positions. Only authorized employees have access to your information.

Benefits, retirement & savings

Eligible library employees receive insurance, vacation, and sick leave. Benefit providers include Health Alliance, Delta Dental, and EyeMed.

Retirement savings are through the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF). Visit the IMRF  Employer Cost & Participant Information webpage for more information.

Employees can participate in the City of Champaign’s deferred compensation plan, administered by the ICMA Retirement Corporation.
