Young Entrepreneur Program

5:30 PM — 7:00 PM
The Young Entrepreneur Program (YEP) is an award-winning, innovative curriculum that seeks to engage, empower, and educate Champaign County high school students through entrepreneurship. If you are a teen or know a teen who thrives in hands-on learning environments, marches to the beat of their own drum, and is always looking for a new challenge, YEP is for you. Participants will be asked to create a small business over the course of two sessions in the fall and spring. The program culminates in a pitch competition, where participants have the opportunity to compete for prize money to seed their new venture.
The program meets every other Monday from September to May, 5:30-7:00 pm. The fall session runs September 17-December 10, and the spring session runs January 14-May 6. Students have the option to participate in a weekly coworking and mentorship meeting on the Mondays when formal meetings are not scheduled.
