Three Paths to Customer Discovery
The most successful small businesses are the ones that understand their customers really, really well. They are intentional about discovering their customer's motivations, preferences, needs and problems. They ask direct questions that illuminate their customers' "why." Then, they put those insights into action to deepen customer loyalty and create sustainable growth.
In this workshop, presenter Andy Miller, owner of Provision Insights, LLC, will offer practical guidance on three ways to surface customer insights:
1. Customer Discovery Conversations - How to ask customers the right questions in the right way to get the right results.
2. Customer Surveys - The 90 second rule for success with surveys.
3. Customer Focus Groups - How a small group can yield big insights in a short amount of time.
About the presenter: Andy Miller is the Owner and Chief Insights Provider for Provision Insights, LLC. Provision Insights boosts profits for small businesses by helping business leaders truly understand their customers.
Andy is a Champaign native who graduated from Champaign Centennial High School and The University of Illinois. He worked as a journalist and News Director for WCIA 3 in Champaign for nearly 20 years, and as a corporate content officer for Nextstar media. During his time in media, Andy specialized in market research, studying audience trends and behaviors and using those insights to grow audience and improve content. Andy launched Provision Insights in 2023 with a goal of using the skillset he developed in media to help local small businesses, nonprofits, community organizations, and churches thrive.
