What It Means to Be International in Illinois
Multicultural Community Fair | Welcoming Week 2019
Sun, Sep 22, 2019
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Do you have a story to share through poetry, an artifact, a painting, music or other cultural expression? We want you to share it with the library community.
Join us for this cultural show-and-tell as part of the Welcoming Week Celebration. Displays will be setup around the room for everyone to enjoy beginning at 2 p.m. At 2:30 p.m. we will invite participants to the stage to share their story (not mandatory) of what it means to them to be international in Illinois.
Interested in being part of the experience? Participants of the show will provide a description, picture and brief bio to Tricia Duzan.
This event is open to the public and should be appropriate for all ages to enjoy. Light refreshments will be offered. Presented in partnership with the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) at Illinois.
REGISTER ONLY if you are interested in sharing an item or your story during international community fair.
Registration is closed.
