Afternoon Adventures - Read to the Dogs

Thu, Aug 29, 2019
3:30 pm – 4:15 pm

Would your child like a patient attentive furry friend to read to? Read to the Dogs provides an opportunity for your child to read to registered therapy dogs in a relaxed atmosphere.

The dogs sit calmly and quietly for a story. Children practice reading out loud and build their fluency and confidence in reading. Serena, Grayson, and Emmie are certified therapy dogs with Love on a Leash and will be here with their handlers Isabel, Joyce, and Sandee. Join us every Thursday at 3:30 p.m. for lots of afternoon fun designed especially for school-age kids 1st through 5th grade with their parent or caregiver.
