Adult Services : Home Delivery Driver & Substitute Drivers

Volunteers are needed to deliver library materials to home-bound library patrons. Volunteers must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Drivers must consent to a background check. Delivery times are flexible: First and third Thursdays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Substitute drivers are also welcome. Volunteers 18 years or older are welcome. 

Substitute drivers are also welcome as fill-in  drivers for regularly scheduled volunteers.

Please contact the library’s volunteer coordinator to set up a volunteer interview.  An interview with a volunteer coordinator must be completed before volunteer work can begin. All of our volunteer positions  include ongoing tasks and are not for a one time or  short term volunteer opportunity. We ask for a minimum  commitment of four months when volunteering.
