Princess Bride by William Goldman
I saw the movie and so decided to try out the book it was based on. The movie was good, and this is also a really good book! It's about a girl named Buttercup, her love Wesley, and their powerful tale of true love. It's full of adventure scenes and lots of excitement! Good read!
