Maintenance Department:  Group Volunteer Project

We welcome local community groups to assist our Maintenance staff with  cleaning and maintaining the library building.     Tasks include vacuuming carpet, wiping desk surfaces and bookshelves, and other general cleaning work. Volunteers must be 16 years or older. Volunteer hours are needed from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Monday to Saturday  and from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday.    The group project  can be a one-time project or based on a regular weekly or monthly schedule. Ideally, we would prefer 4 to  5 volunteers each time.

Please email   volunteer@champaign.org  or call   217/403-2070, ext. 3  to discuss a group volunteer project.  Group projects without contact or confirmation from a volunteer coordinator will not be eligible.
