2017 Caldecott Medal winner  Javaka Steptoe leads a collage workshop for kids in grades 2–5. Limit 35 participants. Reserve your spot!

An Afternoon with Javaka Steptoe
SUN Sep. 24 • 2 pm

Javaka Steptoe is the bestselling author of Radiant Child: The Story of the Young Artist Jean-Michel Basquiat and winner of the 2017 Caldecott Medal, the highest honor for children’s picture books.  He will talk about Radiant Child. A book signing will follow.  Presented in partnership with The Pygmalion Festival. Doors open at 1:30 pm for refreshments and book sales.
