Clean Air Ordinance
Description
According to the City of Champaign, the new Champaign Clean Indoor Air Ordinance (Chapter 16, Section 16.5) went into effect January 31, 2007. CB 2006-138 amended this ordinance on 5/17/2007.
The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District is the agency responsible for compliance inspections and processing complaints. To file a complaint, call (217) 373–7900, (217) 352–7961, or (217) 239–7827.
Complaints can also be filed on CUPHD website or by contacting the front desk of the Champaign Police Department at 217–351-4545.
