Description: According to the Parkland Business Development Center, “Recently enacted legislation has changed the way Certified Appraisers are trained. Effective January 1, 2008, new Appraisal Qualifications Board (AQB) criteria take effect. These requirements will significantly increase the number of Pre-License education hours and mandate that new licensees hold an associate‘s or bachelor‘s degree from an accredited college or university in order to obtain an Illinois Certified or Certified General Appraiser License. For more information regarding Appraisal Pre-License education requirements call 217/351–2235.”
