How do I apply to work at the library?

When should I apply?

Applications are accepted only when positions are open. Applications are not kept on file, so you need to apply again for each position you are interested in.

How can I volunteer at the library?

Submit a volunteer application form, and our volunteer coordinator will get in touch with you. Check our volunteer page for details.

How old do I have to be to work or volunteer at the library?

You must be 16 years old to work at the library. Most volunteers also must be 16, though the children‘s department and the Douglass Branch Library have a few tasks for younger teens.
